The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sparraaja shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Andrea tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Andrea manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Andrea cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sparraaja is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Andrea drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andrea jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sparraaja shoots in for a takedown but Andrea shows good takedown defense.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sparraaja misses with a takedown attempt - Andrea sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Andrea moves into range and clinches up with Sparraaja.

Andrea pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Andrea connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sparraaja tumbling to the canvas! Andrea pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sparraaja was done - good stoppage!
