Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Meekus Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Math Prush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunder comes to the cage accompanied by Battery- Metallica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prush feints and then cracks Thunder's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thunder down.

Prush throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thunder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prush throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thunder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Prush rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thunder moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Prush has Thunder pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Thunder is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Prush - that's hurt Thunder badly! Oh, another knee lands and Thunder is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Thunder doesn't seem to be complaining.
