Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diggy Twiggy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twiggy lands a high kick!
Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Twiggy sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Twiggy thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jackson if he has to take too many more of those.
Twiggy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Twiggy lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Jackson looks gassed!
Twiggy misses with a wild combination.
Jackson fails with the takedown.
Twiggy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Twiggy lands a two punch combo.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Diggy Twiggy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Jackson.
Twiggy throws a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Twiggy misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson wants to clinch up but Twiggy keeps it at a distance.
Twiggy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jackson steps into range and cracks Twiggy with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Twiggy flops backwards and Jackson dives into his guard looking to finish!

Twiggy is rocked!

It looks like Diggy Twiggy has been cut.
Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jackson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Twiggy's head.
Oh Twiggy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Twiggy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Twiggy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Twiggy seems to have got his legs back now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Twiggy throws an overhand right that has Jackson reeling! Twiggy follows up with a more punches and Jackson is out cold! This one is all over!
