The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer stuffs the takedown.
Spencer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lopez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lopez has his foot on Spencer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spencer works his way back into a safe position though.
Spencer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lopez, up you get!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lopez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Spencer.

Spencer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lopez napping and manages to drive through into side control!
