Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MC Batas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batas has chosen eye of the tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Adrian Lima could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to MC Batas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adrian Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, MC Batas!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima shoots for a double leg takedown but Batas sprawls well. He's pushed Lima's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lima dodges the punch combination from Batas.
Lima fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lima walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Batas misses with a body kick.
Lima slips a jab and a cross from Batas.
No joy there for Batas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A left and a right from Batas both land. Nice combination.
Batas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Batas throws a right and a left that Lima avoids nicely.
Batas leaves Lima with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Lima. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Batas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Batas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Batas wants it to stay on the feet.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Batas! Lima is backing up but he can't get away as Batas lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Lima and ends the fight. Great knockout.
