Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pai Mei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Mei.

Mei lands with a nice body kick.
Mei tries to clinch but Li moves out of range.
Mei feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Li's calf.
Li's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Li duly obliges.

Mei clinches with his opponent.
Mei prevents Li from breaking the clinch.
Li is looking to break free of the clinch but Mei has double underhooks.
Mei is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Li is defending well for now.

Mei shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Li's guard.
Mei stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Li swivels though and keeps the full guard.
