Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Griffin Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Pollock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bing comes to the cage accompanied by aint nothing wrong with that. Henry Pollock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Griffin Bing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Pollock!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pollock shoots in and bounces Bing off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bing wants to stand and escape but Pollock is having none of it.

Pollock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bing, up you get!

Pollock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bing looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pollock prevents Bing from escaping the position.
Pollock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bing keeps working.
Bing managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Pollock.

Pollock is trying to get an arm triangle but Bing is defending well.
Pollock tries to score with some ground and pound. Bing controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bing wants to get back to his feet but Pollock drags him back down.
Pollock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Pollock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bing rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pollock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Pollock counters with a takedown into side control.
Pollock sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bing is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Pollock wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bing, who protects the arm well.
Bing on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bing tries to get out of the position.

Pollock stands up and beckons Bing to his feet.
Bing misses with a takedown attempt

and Pollock moves into the clinch.

Pollock wants to pass to mount but Bing is defending the position.
Bing tries to kick Pollock off but Pollock keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pollock is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bing wants to get back to his feet.

Bing kicks Pollock off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bing lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Bing really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bing will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pollock drops back looking for a leg! Bing is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bing manages to kick Pollock off! Pollock jumps back into Bing's guard.

Pollock thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bing wants to stand but Pollock is controlling the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bing wants to stand up but Pollock is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bing rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pollock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pollock is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bing's half guard.
Pollock is keen to just control but Bing is a slippery customer.

Pollock tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bing controls his leg.
Bing wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Pollock is looking to control Bing's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pollock avoid being mounted?

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Bing throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pollock was covering up waiting for the punch and Bing finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bing forces his way into half guard.
Pollock is trying to control but can't.
Bing not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bing is nestled in close to Pollock, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pollock wants to control but Bing is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bing winds up and cracks Pollock with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Pollock is controlling Bing's trapped leg to prevent Bing from advancing to side control.
Bing is nestled in close to Pollock, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bing is trying to shake Pollock off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Pollock won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bing tries to bum rush Pollock with a series of wild strikes but Pollock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pollock dives in and grabs Bing's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bing pushes down on Pollock's head and hops out.

Pollock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bing napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pollock works to advance to full mount. Bing defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Bing wants to try and get back to his feet.
Pollock lands a big shot there that rocks Bing but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Pollock misses with a head shot.
Bing is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Henry Pollock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pollock has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
