Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Hearsum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigoro Raspru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hearsum comes into the arena with Aerosmith - "Dream On" blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Steve Hearsum has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Steve Hearsum seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearsum fails with a takedown attempt.
Raspru has his takedown stuffed

and Hearsum counters with a shoot takedown. Raspru fights it but they end up in guard.
Raspru tries to strike from the bottom.

Raspru working for a triangle but Hearsum defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Hearsum counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Raspru is pressing down on Hearsum's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
