Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taco Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Wright!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taco Train!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Train moves away from the strike by Wright.

Wright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wright, as that shot connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Train tries for a takedown but Wright sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Train needs to keep his hands up - Wright had a free shot at his head there.

Train decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Wright bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Train's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Train throwing strikes here but Wright is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Train moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wright has worked his arm free - good work by Wright!
Wright looks to move to half guard but instead Train has passed into mount! Damn!

Train jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wright is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wright and Train has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Train throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Train is looking to take a break and control but Wright is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Train has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aaron Wright will probably get the nod.

Train dives in and grabs Wright's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wright pushes down on Train's head and hops out.

Wright throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Train sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wright tries to bum rush Train with a series of wild strikes but Train uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Train can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wright is looking to escape.
Poor strikes thrown by Train there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Wright has left one of his arms exposed and Train doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Wright screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
