The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera throws a nice outside leg kick.
Menace throws a body punch but Rivera moves out of range.
Rivera throws a front kick that sends Menace stumbling back into the cage.
Rivera tries to score with a low kick but Menace moves his leg out of the way.
Menace throws the left hand but Rivera avoids the punch easily.
Rivera lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Rivera thumps Menace with a low kick.
Menace chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rivera can pounce on him.

Rivera does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Menace avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Menace's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Rivera throws a front kick aimed at Menace's knee but Menace avoids it well.

Menace gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Menace bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Menace drops his hands momentarily and Rivera takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Phantom Menace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rivera throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rivera steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Menace.
Rivera goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rivera throws a chopping leg kick but Menace manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Menace checks a low kick from Rivera.
Rivera throws out a leg kick but Menace moves out of range and Rivera only half commits.
Rivera misses with a double jab.
Rivera throws a leg kick which misses Menace's front leg but catches the back leg as Menace tries to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Menace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rivera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Menace somewhat.
Rivera blocks a jab.

Carlos Rivera showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Rivera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
