PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Wholequist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kleberson The Fly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wholequist kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is 'Extreme Ways' by Moby. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kleberson The Fly!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Fly lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wholequist's sensitive parts.
The Fly fails with an attempt to clinch.

Wholequist bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The Fly is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wholequist's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Wholequist! Submission of the night perhaps?
