And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Wojarski misses the target.
Kelly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wojarski jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Wojarski moved out of range nicely.
Wojarski misses with a looping right.
A jab from Wojarski misses.
Wojarski works the jab nicely.


It looks like Jesse Kelly has been cut.
Jesse Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wojarski throws a jab when Kelly was well out of range.
Wojarski cracks Kelly with an open hand slap.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close round but I would say that Michal Wojarski will probably get the nod.

Kelly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wojarski swivels and escapes.
Wojarski throws a looping overhand right but Kelly ducks down to avoid it.
Kelly misses with a straight right.
Wojarski pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wojarski is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelly throws a hook but Wojarski blocks it.

Wojarski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Wojarski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kelly is just riding it out for now. Wojarski eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kelly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wojarski is controlling him.
Kelly wants to sweep here but Wojarski controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wojarski manages to avoid it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kelly lands a slapping body shot.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wojarski but Wojarski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kelly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wojarski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kelly with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kelly passes into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kelly is looking to stall here but Wojarski recovers full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jesse Kelly will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Kelly gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Wojarski counter with a right hand.
Wojarski throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wojarski throws a hook but Kelly avoids it easily.
Wojarski throws a hook to the side of Kelly's head but Kelly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Wojarski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kelly's guard now.
Kelly keeping moving, preventing Wojarski from controlling successfully.
Wojarski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kelly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kelly controls Wojarski momentarily but Wojarski frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly wants to stand up but Wojarski is controlling him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wojarski trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wojarski missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kelly gets caught flat footed, as Wojarski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wojarski won't allow Kelly to sweep him here.

Wojarski looking to sit in guard and control but Kelly gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wojarski is trying to control the position but Kelly postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kelly throwing strikes from guard but Wojarski blocks nicely.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wojarski here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wojarski throws a hook but Kelly avoids it easily.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well Wojarski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
