Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Busta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nat north (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trevor Busta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, nat north!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
north scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Busta circles away from the clinch attempt.
north keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
north misses with a body kick.
north blocks a head kick by Busta.

north throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Busta was covering up waiting for the punch and north finishes the takedown easily into guard.
north trying to control but Busta is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

north postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Busta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of north, into his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

north had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Busta defends it easily.
north throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

north is looking for a triangle but Busta pushes his legs off easily.
north has a closed guard, preventing Busta from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

north is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Busta is aware though and is defending well.
Busta would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

north is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Busta stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Busta avoids the head kick by north.
north uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Busta.
nat north seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
north tries to close the distance and clinch up but Busta swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
north rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Busta moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Busta with a jab.
A jab from Busta misses.
north looks to score with a jab to the body but Busta is just out of range.
north throws a head kick but Busta moves out of range.
north throws a looping overhand right but Busta ducks down to avoid it.
Busta throws a good cross that connects.
north tries to clinch up but Busta circles away and keeps his distance.
north misses with a takedown attempt - Busta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
north throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Busta darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Busta misses with the combination.
Busta moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
north wants to clinch up but Busta keeps it at a distance.
Busta lands a right hook to the body.
north looks gassed!
north takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Busta throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
north takes a kick to the side of the head.
Busta scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
north takes a swing at Busta's ribcage but misses.
north throws a lazy head kick
and Busta makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Busta with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trevor Busta dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Busta lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Busta keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice shot lands for Busta.
Busta fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Busta throws a leg kick which misses north's front leg but catches the back leg as north tries to avoid it.
Busta with a jab.
Busta turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Busta scores with a jab to the jaw.
Busta wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Busta thumps north with a low kick.
Busta cracks north with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends north tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Busta pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! north is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevor Busta!
