Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Dicesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dicesar comes to the cage accompanied by Dream Theater- Overture 1928. Fernando Fernandes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fernandes throws a series of punches but Dicesar moves out of range.
Fernandes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dicesar.
Dicesar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dicesar has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fernandes!
Dicesar looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Dicesar trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Dicesar working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Fernandes turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dicesar off and cradles Fernandes's limp body as Dicesar celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Julio Dicesar!
