Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hillbilly george (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey comes to the cage accompanied by Gonna Fly Now . hillbilly george has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, hillbilly george!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

george gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anstey to score an easy takedown into full guard.

george is looking to stand up but Anstey isn't so interested in that idea.

george has momentary wrist control but Anstey slips an elbow through the middle.

Anstey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but george manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Anstey has george in his guard.

Anstey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. george gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

george got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anstey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, george has managed to get both his arms back between Anstey's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anstey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Anstey stands up over george, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Anstey is working george over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Anstey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
