Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Branko Popovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Damato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Popovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to None. Pete Damato will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popovic's corner calls for a 1-2. Popovic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Damato lands with a shot to the body.
Damato paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Popovic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Branko Popovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Popovic shoots in but Damato avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice body punch from Damato.
Damato lands a body shot.
Popovic is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Damato throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Branko Popovic has been cut.
Damato lands a big uppercut and Popovic crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Popovic looks OK. Damato waves Popovic back to his feet!
Popovic is rocked!
Popovic takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh Popovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Damato moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Popovic seems to have got his legs back now.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Damato! Popovic is out on his feet! Damato rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Popovic is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Popovic is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
