Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barrett Rumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rumble tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Rumble.
Rumble throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rumble throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease.
Carter shoots for a takedown but Rumble saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rumble just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rumble throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rumble misses with a straight right.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter walks into a stiff left hand from Rumble.
Rumble throws a wild body kick that Carter sees coming a mile off.
Carter moves out of range of the strikes.
Carter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rumble circles away.
Carter is looking to score with low kicks.

Carter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rumble napping and manages to drive through into side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rumble struggling a bit here.
Rumble tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Carter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ground and pound from Carter seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Rumble knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground.

Rumble wants to get back to his feet but Carter drags him back down.
