Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huston Rustow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Perry's choice of entrance music: Lützenkirchen - Leer aber Techno. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Huston Rustow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Perry!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry shoots in for a double leg but Rustow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rustow swats away the attempt to clinch by Perry.

Perry changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rustow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rustow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Perry tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Rustow is trying to get back to his feet.

Perry swings around for an armbar but Rustow sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Perry's guard.

Perry working for a triangle but Rustow defends it easily.

Rustow avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rustow stands up and waves to Perry to follow him.
Rustow throws a combination. Perry tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rustow keeps the fight on the outside.
Fred Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rustow closes the distance and clinches.
Perry lands a knee to the head.
Rustow digs a right hand underneath Perry's ribcage. Perry let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rustow lands with a short shot to the head.
Perry throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rustow blocks it with crossed arms.
Rustow wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Rustow lands with a right to the head.

Rustow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Huston Rustow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Perry.
Perry looks gassed!
Perry tries to clinch but Rustow moves away

and Rustow moves into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Perry throws a knee to the head but misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rustow.

Rustow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rustow instigates a clinch.
Perry fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Huston Rustow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Perry.
Rustow lands with a left to the head.
Rustow gets underhooks to prevent Perry's takedown attempt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Rustow.

Rustow breaks from the clinch.
Perry darts in trying to clinch
and Rustow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Perry's knee momentarily.

Rustow darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rustow connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Perry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Rustow to counter with a crisp jab.

Rustow clinches up against the cage.
Rustow pushes Perry back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rustow lands a hook that snaps the head of Perry backwards.

Rustow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rustow circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rustow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Perry thinking.
Rustow dips to his left and cracks Perry with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perry needs to keep his hands up - Rustow had a free shot at his head there.

Perry is rocked!
A solid leg kick lands there for Rustow.
Perry moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Perry is still on wobbly legs! Can Rustow finish him?
Rustow connects with a nice cross there... Perry is looking wobbly and Rustow recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Perry to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Rustow jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
