The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bootski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

SIlva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bootski is trying to defend but SIlva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bootski pushes SIlva off looking to stand but SIlva dives back in and keeps control.

SIlva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bootski is just riding it out for now. SIlva eventually gives up the hold.

SIlva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

SIlva is trying for a kimura here. Bootski looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! SIlva wins by kimura!
