Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Slim Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roye Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson wants to clinch up but Duck keeps it at a distance.
Duck misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Duck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Duck darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.

Jackson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Duck can't fight it off and eventually Jackson manages to take the fight to the floor. Duck looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Duck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Duck is trying to get back to his feet.
Jackson tries to stand but Duck is controlling his head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jackson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jackson lands an elbow that stopped Duck in his tracks for a moment.

Jackson is trying to drag Duck to the mat but Duck just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Duck tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jackson's elbow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Duck pushes him off.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Duck pinned against the cage. Duck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.

Duck seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Duck is stalling here. Jackson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Duck seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jackson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
