Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mallon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by im not afraid. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Mallon!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallon misses with a wild body shot.
Mallon loads up on a big right hand but Silver slips the punch.

Silver gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mallon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silver avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mallon can't get the takedown.
Silver tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Silver has Mallon pressed against the cage, preventing Mallon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silver is leaning against Mallon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Silver pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Mallon tries for a takedown. No joy.

Silver fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mallon.

It looks like John Mallon has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mallon is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Silver throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Silver has a couple of punches blocked by Mallon.
Silver pushes Mallon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Mallon tries to score a body lock takedown but Silver shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Mallon tightens his grip and picks Silver up, before dumping him to the ground. Silver manages to land in guard.
Mallon throwing strikes but missing.
Mallon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mallon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mallon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mallon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silver swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mallon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Mallon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silver dives on top into guard.

Mallon looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silver has picked Mallon up and slammed him! Mallon can't keep hold of the triangle and Silver manages to pass to side control!
Mallon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silver wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mallon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Silver stands up.
Some wild striking there from Mallon.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch but Mallon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mallon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
No joy there for Mallon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silver ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mallon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mallon throws a jab when Silver was well out of range.
Mallon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silver.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mallon looks to throw the jab but Silver is out of range.

John Mallon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver throws a sloppy head kick and Mallon moves out of range easily.
Mallon throws a looping overhand right but Silver ducks down to avoid it.

Silver comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

John Mallon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Mallon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Silver avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silver tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mallon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Mallon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silver moves away.
