Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diop dodges the punch combination from Sanchez.
Diop avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanchez throws the kick towards the body but Diop avoids it.
Diop misses with a body shot.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that Diop avoids nicely.
Sanchez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sanchez moves in looking to clinch but Diop pushes him off.

Diop clinches up with Sanchez and pushes him back against the cage.

Sanchez wants to get back to striking at distance but Diop won't allow it.

Diop pulls guard effortlessly.
Diop will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sanchez throws a strike but Diop rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sanchez has hold of Diop's hands but Diop slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sanchez tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Diop lands a nice short elbow.
Sanchez is trying to stand back up but Diop is controlling him

Diop seems to be looking for submissions.
Diop frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
A nice elbow there by Diop.
Diop won't let Sanchez get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Diop breaks from Sanchez's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Sanchez is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diop is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Sanchez goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Diop!
