Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Archangel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butter Sweet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sweet has chosen Knock Out as his entrance music. Christopher Archangel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archangel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sweet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Archangel dives in and grabs Sweet's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sweet pushes down on Archangel's head and hops out.
Archangel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sweet is fending him off so far but Archangel persists. Nope, Sweet circles away and we're back to standing.
Sweet stuns Archangel with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Sweet is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Archangel has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Archangel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sweet is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Archangel goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sweet has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Archangel but great work by Sweet.

Sweet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Archangel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sweet looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sweet looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sweet!

Sweet goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Archangel feints and as Sweet raises his hands in defense, Archangel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Archangel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sweet swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Christopher Archangel.
