The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazelett cracks Denton with an open hand slap.
Hazelett displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Denton.
Denton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hazelett circles away.
Hazelett moves into range and connects with a jab.
Denton walks into a jab.
Denton throws a looping overhand right but Hazelett ducks down to avoid it.

Hazelett decides to stand up, so the ref orders Denton to his feet.
Denton tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hazelett is able to avoid easily.
Hazelett lands a lovely overhand right.
Hazelett thuds a left hand into Denton's body.

Oh Denton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Denton gets the takedown into side control.
Hazelett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Denton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hazelett is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Denton seems to have got his legs back now.
