Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiron Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man's entrance music is Penthouse. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menezes keeps the fight on the outside.

Man rushes Menezes and presses him up against the cage.

Menezes manages to break the clinch.
Menezes thows a body shot but no joy.
Man takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Menezes as he jumps to the side.
Menezes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Man swinging wildly here.
Man displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Menezes throws out the jab.
Menezes just misses with a punch to the body.
Man tries to clinch there but Menezes circles away.
Menezes lands a nice shot to the body.
Man misses with a wild combination.
Menezes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Man darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Man is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Menezes is looking to control Man's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Menezes avoid being mounted?
Menezes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Menezes.
Man trying to control but Menezes is working from the bottom.

Menezes wants to stand and escape but Man is having none of it.
Man slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Menezes keeps the fight on the outside.
Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Menezes circles away.
Man on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kiron Menezes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Menezes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Man to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Menezes looking for a sweep. Not yet Menezes, not yet.

Menezes has his foot on Man's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Man works his way back into a safe position though.
Man seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Menezes is trying to keep Man in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man won't allow Menezes to sweep him here.

Menezes has his feet on Man's thighs here. He's pushed Man off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Man screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
