Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ferris Bueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Zabuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bueller's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Circus Maximus - From Childhood's Hour . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ferris Bueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricky Zabuza!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bueller closes the distance and clinches up with Zabuza, looking for a takedown. Bueller pushes Zabuza against the cage but Zabuza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zabuza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bueller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bueller shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Zabuza tries to kick Bueller off but Bueller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Bueller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zabuza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bueller.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bueller fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No joy there for Zabuza, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bueller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zabuza looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bueller swings around for an armbar but Zabuza sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bueller's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bueller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Zabuza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zabuza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bueller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bueller has his foot on Zabuza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zabuza works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bueller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zabuza did well to prevent Bueller getting side control.

Bueller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zabuza is just riding it out for now. Bueller eventually gives up the hold.

Bueller is trying to maintain the position but Zabuza is very close to passing his half guard.

Ricky Zabuza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

I think Zabuza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
