Cadwallader is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gilbert can't fight it off and eventually Cadwallader manages to take the fight to the floor. Gilbert looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Cadwallader remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Cadwallader is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gilbert is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gilbert flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cadwallader anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gilbert and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cadwallader slips an arm under Gilbert chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cadwallader has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cadwallader is squeezing on Gilbert like an anaconda would it's prey. Gilbert fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
