The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilbert tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martinez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A jab-cross combination lands for Gilbert and sends Martinez crashing to the mat! Gilbert follows him down to the mat - Martinez regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Fernandez Martinez has been cut.
