The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcarthy is looking to clinch but Scott is avoiding it.

Scott tries a head kick but it misses.
Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Mcarthy moves out of range easily.
Mcarthy closes the distance but Scott moves to the side
and Scott counters with a good low kick that Mcarthy was not able to check.
Scott tries to bum rush Mcarthy with a series of wild strikes but Mcarthy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Scott feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mcarthy's calf.
Scott moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Scott takes the fight into the clinch.

and Scott counters with a big head kick but Mcarthy shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scott scores with a three punch combo!

Mcarthy gets caught flat footed, as Scott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Scott decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Scott shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mcarthy is trying to defend but Scott finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
