Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elinor Ancheta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fungus Mcanus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcanus has chosen Mcanus as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ancheta tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcanus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mcanus just misses with a punch to the body.
Mcanus throws a series of punches but Ancheta avoids them all with ease.
Ancheta shoots in but Mcanus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Some wild striking there from Mcanus.
Ancheta tries to clinch up but Mcanus circles away and keeps his distance.
Ancheta has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ancheta there as he acknowledges the shot.
Mcanus drops Ancheta with a beautiful combination! Ancheta stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mcanus is looking for the KO!
Ancheta is rocked!
It looks like Elinor Ancheta has been cut.
Ancheta tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcanus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oh Ancheta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ancheta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ancheta feints and as Mcanus raises his hands in defense, Ancheta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ancheta avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ancheta slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Ancheta shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcanus sprawls well. He's pushed Ancheta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ancheta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mcanus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ancheta takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mcanus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ancheta gets a clinch.
Ancheta goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mcanus prevents it.
Ancheta trying to control the position but instead, Mcanus has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ancheta into the cage.
Ancheta prevents Mcanus from breaking the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mcanus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ancheta has him pressed against the cage.
Mcanus wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fungus Mcanus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Elinor Ancheta's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A left and a right from Mcanus both land. Nice combination.
Mcanus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No luck for Ancheta with that takedown attempt.
Ancheta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ancheta wants to get up but he can't break Mcanus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mcanus holds on and takes a little breather.
Mcanus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ancheta defends well.
Mcanus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mcanus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ancheta is one step ahead there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ancheta trying to control but Mcanus is working from the bottom.

Ancheta is posturing up here but Mcanus has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ancheta tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ancheta has to tap! Slick submission there by Mcanus!
