The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihara fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Leigh is out of range.
Leigh fails with the takedown.
Ihara lands with a kick to the temple. Leigh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Danny Leigh has been cut.
Ihara throws a front kick that sends Leigh stumbling back into the cage.
An inside leg kick lands from Ihara.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leigh closes the distance and clinches up with Ihara, looking for a takedown. Leigh pushes Ihara against the cage but Ihara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Leigh looks gassed!
Ihara connects with a solid leg kick.
Ihara circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Leigh drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ihara follows Leigh to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
