Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Shewmaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios throws a head kick but Shewmaker moves out of range.

Shewmaker drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rios will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rios has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shewmaker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rios really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shewmaker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rios wants to sweep here but Shewmaker controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shewmaker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shewmaker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shewmaker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Shewmaker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rios is keeping the position for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rios lands with a nice body kick.
Rios throws a head kick that Shewmaker semi-blocks.
Rios throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Shewmaker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rios manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Shewmaker stands and throws Rios's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rios wants to get back to his feet.

Shewmaker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rios is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Shewmaker has hold of Rios's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rios seems comfortable defending it but Shewmaker has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rios is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rios is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Shewmaker couldn't care less - he's delighted!
