Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Under Taker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Under Taker!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex throws out a powerful jab.
Danga de danga de dang - Rex scores with a four punch combination!

Taker shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Taker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Taker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rex defending well though.
Rex is looking to escape.
Rex trying to hold on to Taker's head to control him but Taker postures up.
Taker wants to take a breather but Rex is having none of it.
Rex wants to get back to full guard.
Rex really is a fat lump.
Rex is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Taker scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rex is trying to control but can't.

Taker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Rex moves into full guard.
Taker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Taker connects with a couple of short punches.
Taker postures up in Rex's guard and throws a big left but Rex blocks it.

Taker stands and throws Rex's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rex takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Rex is looking for a sweep.
Rex is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Taker decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Rex misses with the combination.

Taker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taker throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Rex struggling a bit here.
Rex takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Rex is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rex manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Taker manages to get himself to full guard.
Taker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rex is one step ahead there.
Rex postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Taker is trying to keep Rex in close.
Rex throws and elbow that misses. Taker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rex's guard. Nice move by Taker!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rex controls Taker momentarily but Taker frees himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rex is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Taker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rex looks to land a combination. Taker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Rex scores with a one two! Taker had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Rex scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

No joy there for Rex, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cyrus Rex is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Taker closes the distance and clinches up with Rex, looking for a takedown. Taker pushes Rex against the cage but Rex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cyrus Rex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Under Taker.

Rex throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Taker on the side of the head.
Cyrus Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rex moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rex lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Taker backs up against the cage.

Taker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Taker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rex avoids it really well and circles away.

Rex goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rex moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Taker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rex is fending him off so far but Taker persists. Nope, Rex circles away and we're back to standing.

Taker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rex sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taker somewhat.
Taker has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Taker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rex circles away.
Cyrus Rex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Under Taker.
Taker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rex lands with a nice combination. Taker backs away looking to recover.
Rex swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Taker.

Taker takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Taker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Rex catches Taker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Taker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rex tries to avoid it but Taker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rex to the ground. Rex escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Taker shoots in for a takedown but Rex shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
