The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holyfield stuns McSofterson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Joe Holyfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holyfield tries to clinch but McSofterson is having none of it.

McSofterson throws a big right hand that misses.
Holyfield is looking to stand back up but McSofterson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Holyfield.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
McSofterson tries to stand and escape but Holyfield is controlling the position.

Holyfield darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Holyfield throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Holyfield drops McSofterson with a beautiful combination! McSofterson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Holyfield is looking for the KO!
Holyfield cracks McSofterson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and McSofterson falls backwards against the ropes. Holyfield follows up with more strikes that drop McSofterson to his knees. Holyfield keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save McSofterson! This one is all over!
