PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terron Cabal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabal comes into the arena with Trapt--Sound Off blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cabal wants it to stay on the feet.

Anderson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cabal did well to prevent Anderson getting side control.

Anderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cabal is looking to control Anderson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cabal avoid being mounted?

Anderson is working for a submission of some sort.
Cabal wants to get back to his feet.

Anderson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Cabal is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.

Cabal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Cabal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Anderson is staying active underneath Cabal, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cabal is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cabal working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Cabal slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Terron Cabal.

Cabal gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anderson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Anderson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cabal is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Anderson, into his guard.

Anderson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cabal should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Anderson has tightened it up now! Cabal should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
