PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Reuger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reuger comes into the arena with Holy Diver blaring out of the sound system. Williams has chosen Kevlar soul as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reuger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Reuger feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reuger cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reuger swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams drops back looking for a leg! Reuger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reuger manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Reuger's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Williams is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Reuger defends it well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
