Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matija Antol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Antol has Sobral up against the cage in a clinch.
Sobral tries to pull guard but Antol won't allow it.
Antol is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sobral pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sobral prevents a takedown attempt there.
Antol drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sobral pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Antol counters with a shoot takedown. Sobral fights it but they end up in guard.

Antol got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sobral has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Antol has managed to get both his arms back between Sobral's legs - danger averted.

Sobral escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Antol gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Matija Antol.

Sobral shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Antol manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sobral has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Antol should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sobral has tightened it up now! Antol should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
