Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cinderella Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cinderella Man!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishii misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Man gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ishii to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ishii is looking to work some ground and pound but Man has wrist control.

Ishii stopping the sweep attempt from Man.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ishii got a little sloppy there for a moment and Man has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ishii has managed to get both his arms back between Man's legs - danger averted.

Ishii drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Ishii off! Ishii jumps back into Man's guard.

Man takes the fight into the clinch.
Man tries to stall but Ishii uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ishii here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
