Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junior Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Serra will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Wolfe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Serra!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Serra is defended easily by Wolfe.

Wolfe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wolfe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Serra's guard.
Serra is looking to stand up but Wolfe isn't so interested in that idea.
Wolfe looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Serra wants to stand and escape but Wolfe is having none of it.
Wolfe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Serra is looking to stand up but Wolfe isn't so interested in that idea.

Wolfe sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Wolfe works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wolfe takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Serra tries to kick Wolfe off but Wolfe keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Junior Wolfe.
Serra shoots in for a takedown but Wolfe shows good takedown defense.
Serra looks gassed!
Serra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wolfe tries to avoid it but Serra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wolfe to the ground. Wolfe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Junior Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra.
Serra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wolfe pinned against the cage. Wolfe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Wolfe has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Serra can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wolfe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Serra manages to avoid it.

and Wolfe counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Serra!

Wolfe feints and as Serra raises his hands in defense, Wolfe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wolfe motions for Serra to come forward. Wolfe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Serra shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Serra thows a huge punch but Wolfe dodges it nicely.
Serra thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wolfe's head.
Wolfe wants to improve his position but Serra is controlling well.

Serra takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Wolfe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Junior Wolfe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Serra pushes Wolfe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wolfe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Wolfe pivots, looking for a leg kick but Serra is out of range and Wolfe settles back down.
Serra doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Wolfe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Serra won't be happy with that.

Wolfe seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Serra for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wolfe tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Serra is able to avoid easily.

Wolfe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wolfe is pressing down on Serra's thigh, looking to free his foot. Serra is holding on for now.

Junior Wolfe showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Wolfe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
