Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ewan McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire comes to the ring accompanied by DMX "Party Up". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGuire shoots in and bounces Hawk off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Hawk tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McGuire throws a big right hand that misses.
Hawk is trying to control the position but McGuire postures up.
Hawk keeping moving, preventing McGuire from controlling successfully.
Hawk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hawk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McGuire's guard.
Hawk trying to control but McGuire is working from the bottom.
McGuire has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hawk has passed into side control.
Hawk wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGuire keeps working.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

McGuire gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
McGuire is looking for a sweep. Hawk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hawk stalling away here and it's allowed McGuire to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
McGuire wants to sweep but no luck.
McGuire trying to keep a closed guard but Hawk is proving a slippery customer.
Hawk tries to free his leg and advance position but McGuire is retaining full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
McGuire is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hawk is fighting to break McGuire's control of his arms but McGuire is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hawk won't allow McGuire to sweep him here.
Hawk tries to free his leg and advance position but McGuire is retaining full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McGuire dodges the punch combination from Hawk.
Hawk throws a leg kick but McGuire sees it coming and moves out of range.

McGuire changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hawk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hawk gets back to half guard.
Hawk works his way to full guard. Good work.

Hawk is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McGuire is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
