Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Svenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Sarat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svenn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is We Taking Over. Tom Svenn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tom Svenn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Sarat!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Svenn swivels and escapes.
Tom Svenn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Sarat or perhaps it was just good defense by Svenn which made him look bad.
Sarat gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sarat working for a triangle but Svenn defends it easily.
Svenn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sarat looking for a sweep. Not yet Sarat, not yet.

Svenn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sarat throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Sarat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Svenn postures up in Sarat's guard and throws a big left but Sarat blocks it.
Svenn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sarat wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sarat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Svenn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Svenn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Svenn drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Svenn as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Sarat screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Svenn! Nice submission victory there!
