Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akio Daisuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch has chosen Wild Thing as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch shoots in for a takedown but Daisuke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Daisuke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lynch defends well.

Daisuke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lynch is aware though and is defending well.

Lynch drops back looking for a leg! Daisuke is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Daisuke manages to kick Lynch off! Lynch jumps back into Daisuke's guard.

Lynch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lynch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daisuke swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Daisuke keeping moving, preventing Lynch from controlling successfully.
Lynch might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Daisuke kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daisuke wants to sweep here but Lynch controlling him for the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Daisuke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Daisuke clinches.
Daisuke gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Lynch pulls Daisuke into guard.
Daisuke stands and throws Lynch's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Daisuke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lynch is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Daisuke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Lynch is looking to reverse the position.
Daisuke works to advance to full mount. Lynch defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

That was a close round but I would say that Akio Daisuke will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lynch shoots in but no luck this time.

Daisuke drives through and clinches with Lynch against the cage.
Daisuke throws an elbow but it misses.

Daisuke manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Lynch tries to free his leg and advance position but Daisuke is retaining full guard.
Lynch is pushing down on Daisuke's leg trying to pass to half guard. Daisuke is fighting to maintain full guard but Lynch has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lynch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daisuke keeps working.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Lynch looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lynch is breathing heavily.

Daisuke is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lynch throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Daisuke's body to avoid the submission. Daisuke has instead reached around Lynch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Daisuke arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
