Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Angel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrei Arlovsky!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel throws a head kick but Arlovsky moves out of range.
Arlovsky changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Arlovsky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Angel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Angel is trying to work for a kimura but Arlovsky is defending well.
Arlovsky is trying is best to control the position here.

Arlovsky makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Arlovsky cracks a nice hook into Angel's ribs.
Arlovsky swinging wildly here.
Arlovsky misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Arlovsky.
Angel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Angel is breathing heavily.
Angel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Arlovsky paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Angel shoots in and drives through. Arlovsky sprawls well.
Arlovsky swinging wildly here.
Arlovsky leaves Angel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Angel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Angel throws a sloppy head kick and Arlovsky moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Angel.
Arlovsky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Angel circles away quickly and effectively.
Angel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Arlovsky cracks Angel with an open hand slap.
Angel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Arlovsky checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Angel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Arlovsky finds it's way round the side to connect with Angel's head.

Arlovsky drops Angel with a beautiful combination! Angel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Arlovsky is looking for the KO!


Angel is rocked!


It looks like Michael Angel has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arlovsky lands a nice hook to Angel's body. Angel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oh Angel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arlovsky throws a series of punches but Angel avoids them all with ease.
Angel seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Arlovsky digs a good hook to Angel's body.
Arlovsky connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Angel! He's out on his feet! Arlovsky rushes in and drops Angel with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
