Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between nathan grogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Ding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ding blocks a head kick by grogan.

grogan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ding looking to stall.
grogan can't get the takedown.

grogan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
grogan shoots in looking for a takedown. Ding tries to sprawl out of it but grogan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ding manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ding will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ding closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ding lands in his opponent's guard.

Ding decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ding.
Ding closes the distance looking to clinch
and grogan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
grogan is breathing heavily.

grogan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ding counters with a head kick. That will keep grogan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

grogan is rocked!

Ding lands a huge takedown. grogan is out but the ref is slow to react and Ding lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. grogan lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
