The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blatt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fauatea circles away quickly and effectively.
Fauatea defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blatt.
Blatt wants to clinch up but Fauatea keeps it at a distance.
Jeff Blatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blatt throws a right hand that Fauatea ducks under and follows up with a left that Fauatea also avoids with ease.
Fauatea catches Blatt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Blatt looks to score with a jab to the body but Fauatea is just out of range.
