Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Doe's choice of entrance music: Lux Aeterna. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe avoids the head kick by Jordan.
Doe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jordan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jordan lands with a shot to the body.
Jordan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Doe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jordan tries to work over Doe's front leg with a kick but Doe checks it.

Doe throws out a leg kick but Jordan moves out of range and Doe only half commits.
Jordan throws a leg kick which misses Doe's front leg but catches the back leg as Doe tries to avoid it.

Doe avoids the head kick by Jordan.
Doe throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Jordan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Doe fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jordan checks it well.

Doe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jordan. That did some damage!

It looks like Mike Jordan has been cut.
Jordan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doe can pounce on him.
Jordan is breathing heavily.
Jordan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Doe connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Doe looks to land a combination. Jordan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nice combo by Doe! Oh, that's hurt him - Jordan falls to the canvas and Doe follows him into side control.

Doe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jordan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jordan holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Doe tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Doe is landing with some decent strikes but Jordan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Doe lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Jordan wants to control but Doe is having none of it.

Doe moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jordan has worked his arm free - good work by Jordan!
Jordan tries to bench press Doe off him but Doe keeps the position.

Doe in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Jordan avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Doe.
Jordan parries the strikes from Doe easily there. Doe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jordan to escape.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Doe is trying to ground and pound but Jordan uses the momentary lack of control by Doe to regain half guard.

Doe decides to stand up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Doe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jordan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jordan throws a front kick aimed at Doe's knee but Doe avoids it well.

Doe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jordan's sensitive parts.
Doe lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jordan will feel that in the morning.
