The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pounder connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
gerrard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Pounder works the jab nicely.
A slow jab from Pounder misses its intended target.
Pounder bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of gerrard's head.

Pounder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

gerrard looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Pounder passes into side control.
Pounder works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Pounder cracks gerrard with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Pounder scores with a couple of short elbows.

Pounder is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down gerrard's shoulder. That is not cool.
Oh gerrard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

gerrard tries to bench press Pounder off him but Pounder keeps the position.
gerrard is breathing heavily.
Pounder cracks gerrard with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Pounder immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! gerrard is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Pounder!
