With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buddy Austin!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Thai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Thai scores with a jab. Austin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Austin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thai.
Austin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thai loads up on a big right hand but Austin slips the punch.
Thai misses with a jab, cross combination.
Austin shoots for a double leg takedown but Thai sprawls well. He's pushed Austin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Austin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thai to the mat! Thai manages to get full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Austin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Austin stands and throws Thai's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thai is not content to let Austin control the position.

Austin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Thai rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Austin's guard! Nice work there by Thai!
Austin is trying to keep Thai in close.
Thai with a flurry of punches that miss.

Austin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Thai has picked Austin up and slammed him! Austin can't keep hold of the triangle and Thai manages to pass to side control!
Austin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Thai connects with a decent elbow.
Thai landing strikes.
Thai tries to score with some ground and pound. Austin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Austin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Thai off and has taken his back!

Thai defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Austin's arms.
Thai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Austin on the ground.

Austin is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Thai has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Austin has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Thai taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Austin doesn't care though - he's delighted!
