Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Faint. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta wants to clinch.

Huerta moves in looking to clinch but Kong pushes him off.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kong is defended easily by Huerta.
Kong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Huerta fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kong looks for a takedown but Huerta sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Kong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from Huerta.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kong has a takedown stuffed.
Kong shoots for a takedown but Huerta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kong shoots in for a takedown but Huerta shows good takedown defense.
Huerta is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Max Huerta dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A combination from Huerta does no damage.
Kong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Huerta sprawls well. Huerta wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kong gets slowly back to his feet.
Huerta tries to clinch up but Kong circles away and keeps his distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Huerta, as that shot connected.
Huerta tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kong swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Huerta to the mat! Huerta manages to get full guard.

Huerta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kong defends well.
Huerta looking for a sweep. Not yet Huerta, not yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kong drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kong seems to have locked his on tight now - Huerta screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kong, as he picks up the win!
