Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Sewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor Ryan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sewell is looking to clinch but Ryan is avoiding it.

Ryan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ryan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ryan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sewell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ryan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Joshua Sewell has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ryan has clasped his hands together around Sewell's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Sewell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Let's hope that Ryan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ryan advances to full mount.
Sewell really is a fat lump.
Sewell keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ryan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Despite being in the dominant position, Taylor Ryan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ryan scoring well with a low kick there.
Sewell takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ryan! Sewell is out on his feet! Ryan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sewell is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sewell is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
